On October 1st, 2012 Highwire will only support the eWay Rapid 3.0 API platform. We will discontinue support for the Direct and Shared Payments API. You will need to obtain a username and API key to use this feature. Please follow the instructions below if you are updating existing settings or adding new eWay settings.
You must upgrade to the One page checkout form prior to completing these steps!
Log into your eWAY business center account at http://myeway.com.au/ (choose the appropriate country if needed) and click on the "My Account" tab and then "User Security"
Create a new user. If you have an existing user you wish to use, you can skip this step. You may use any email address and your own password. Fill out the create user form and click "Create User".
From the manage users list, click the "View API Key" option from the actions drop down.
Copy the API key that is provided. (The API key shown below is only for demonstration purposes and is not a valid API key.)
Update your eWay settings on Highwire by entering your eWay account ID, eWay API key and user password..
