I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the ladies @ www.Designmycart.com for implementing my new template and being very patient with me : )

Teri and Jeri, you once mentioned that the actual checkout page could not be altered, is that correct? I think that was why we added our phone number to the header image since we couldn't change the page. I absolutely HATE the checkout page, it has got to be the most unattractive thing about my HW store. Could you just verify that...
Nothing has changed since we told you that the HTML cannot be edited once you enter the Highwire checkout. That whole section beyond the cart page (once you have entered the checkout process) is controlled by code that no store owner or designer has access to. The only changes that can be made are to the css files which only control the appearance and not the content or functionality of the checkout process.
The solution we provided -- where you are using an alternate logo that has additional text to instruct buyers to call you if they have trouble checking out or would rather do it by phone -- is really the only alternative there is.
Highwire did make an update to being able to add your own text to the checkout success page, but that will only display AFTER the order is completed. That doesn't much help those having issues placing the order to begin with.
