We have added product photo editing support directly from your product edit pages. With the Aviary Feather editor, you can perform advanced photo editing tasks with out leaving your product photo pages. Just click the edit icon under your product photo to launch the editor.

Aviary's HTML5 Photo Editor will only work with HTML5 compatible browsers. You will need to be using the latest version of Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

I'm clicking on the photos but Aviary does not launch.   Is there a setting on my Computer I need to check?

Carolyn, are you clicking on the little pencil below the photo? I'm using FireFox version 3.6.13 and Aviary is opening OK for me...

Tomas, this a sweet little image editor. Very easy to work with... and I love the ability to also add Text!  Nice!

You may have a cached version of the product edit page.

While on the edit page, hold down your shift key while clicking the refresh button on your browser then try again.

I tried the Shift Key, etc., deleted temp files and cleared the cache through ipconfig.   I also turned off the pop-off blocker, but no luck.   I am using IE8.

Carolyn, I also have IE8 on my computer (altho I hardly ever use it). I just tried to use the new Aviary photo editor with IE8 as my browser, and it won't open the photo editor. Looks like you have to use FireFox to take advantage of it (don't know if it will work with Chrome or any of the other browsers?)...   :-(

Tomas,

Please look into getting this to work with IE8.   Obviously I don't need it immediately, but it would be great if you could work this out for IE 8.

Thanks,

Carolyn

Sorry, the Aviary Feather editor is only available on HTML 5 compatible browsers. IE 8 is not one of them. You'll need to use the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

Okay, I've installed Foxfire and will use it to work on the store.   Take some getting used to, but of course I now have both browsers on my computer and can both.

Hi Tomas

I have the latest Firefox, and when i tried to use the editor i had very limited success...some things responded, some things didn't. Seemed quite random. I was able to get the text box to open, i typed, adjusted, changed color, saved....then when i tried to close out, Aviary told me i hadn't saved my edit, so i "saved" again. i then closed out, and none of the text editing i did showed up on my photo.

??

Have you submitted a ticket? Has is started working yet? That's a bummer if you can't upload your photos but they should be able to help if you submit a ticket.
