Need the ability to edit the order details. Received an order for two items and one items out of stock. Needed to remove the one item because all the email would include both items in details.

I second this.
yes please!!
Yesssssss!!!!!
Adding an edit order feature would be a great addition. There have been many occasions when I have had to edit items in an order. Also the packing slip has all items in the original customers order, so being able to print custom packing slips is also an essential.
Yes.
Some additional examples when this would be used...
---Customer calls and requests to change item size.
---Refunding for one of the items (as Billy mentioned)... but now the full total is still reflected when we export orders to get a total for the year (or use the reports feature here.
--- Similar to above... so the packing slip looks right when we are not shipping one of the items (out of stock, or customer request).
..............
For me, the biggest thing is that my sales are not correct, as I have not removed things that were returned from multi-item orders.
Being able to edit orders would be a great and much needed improvement. I had a buyer that made a mistake during checkout and had trouble getting back into the system. I sent an invoice through the admin panel but the link didn't work. I then sent an invoice directly from paypal and the buyer paid plus asked for a third item. All worked out but I have no way to 1. mark the order as paid. 2. add the additional item to the order. I feel we should be able to make any changes that to our invoices that come up during transactions including shipping addresses.

my apologies, I see there is a place on the order tracking to mark the order paid.
Has the request to have ability to edit an order ever get answered?
I need to be able to adjust the Shipping charges when multiple items are purchased. The discount is too dynamic to be set with rules.
Currently when somebody orders multiple items I have to wait for them to pay then refund the difference, which isn't very professional.
Personally this seems to be a basic business need that should have been part of the original requirements. EDIT ORDER DETAILS.
