Free Shipping Coupon Code

I wish there was a way to only let my customers get free shipping on first class mail. When I make the coupon code, they can choose whichever form of shipping they'd like.... (had one today for priority mail international at $21.75!!!)

This is a glitch in the highwire system that really needs to be fixed.  It causes me a lot of problems.

Joe~ I'm just sending it to them regular mail since the code specifically states "free first class shipping" and I haven't had one complain yet...

We do the same thing.  But the problem is that once the customer meets the free shipping threshold, the highwire system allows the customer to select any shipping for free including overnight shipping.  This then generates a telephone call or an e-mail when the customer does not receive their free shipping order via overnight delivery.  It tends to tick some customers off because they feel lied to.

There are some customers that are willing to pay for a shipping upgrade (like they have on Amazon) from free shipping, but the highwire system will not allow a customer to do this. 

I have been asking for over a year for highwire to fix this glitch, but so far there has been no fix.
