Can anyone help me figure out what this means? I've contacted Highwire - they say everything is "fine" on their end. I contacted the paypal customer service via phone and they said everything is "fine" on their end. And yet - I keep getting errors and have now lost multiple customers. I contacted paypal again and they told me to contact paypal MTS. Their response made absolutely no sense to me. I will paste it below. Maybe someone can help me figure this out! I am so frustrated!
"I need more information before I can assist you properly. May I please have a copy of the API request you're posting to PayPal and the API response you're receiving? With that information I can research it further.
The most common reason this error occurs is because you're submitting a DoExpressCheckoutPayment or GetExpressCheckoutDetails API call without passing a full "TOKEN" value - which is required - to complete the API call but I can't confirm which without the API call you're posting."

I've had problems with customers can place orders but the payment won't happen on paypal. I get the order just fine, but I don't get the payment, and it doesn't charge them on their account either. I've had two in the last week or 10 days. Luckily both of the people really wanted the items and contacted me. They both tried like 3 times to order the items and even on different days to see if that helped. I've got a help ticket opened on this. Maybe you should open one too.
I have had the same Paypal Issue and contacted Paypal with a similar response, that everything is "fine" on their end. Unfortunately, I have quite a few problems on HighWire, so I am left assuming it is a problem on Highwire's end. I'd like to add another checkout problem my customers are having when trying to check out and if anyone has a solution please share: "Unable to calculate shipping rates. Please check address entry or contact store owner. Error: USPS:Missing value for Country."
dance2live~ I had the second issue you are having a while back and it was a weight issue with international orders. I had to slightly increase the weight for my product and it made it better. I increased the weight to .07 pounds and it works fine now. I do see that it increases the charges when my customers order multiple products, but not too substantially.
On another note, I too am having PayPal/highwire issues. I have had MULTIPLE customers now pay twice for an item. There are days that we have well over 100 orders and I really don't have the time to cross reference each payment. My customers have stated that they are getting an error message and they are under the impression that their order doesn't go through so they place it again.... (super sucks when they go and open a paypal dispute on top of it....) I have an open ticket for this that has yet to be addressed....
I had two customers contact me saying they had trouble completing their order. One (Jan. 23) said she got a message saying there was nothing in her cart when there was and the other customer (Jan. 24) can't remember what the error message was but said nothing happened when she clicked complete order. She tried two times and was worried she may have paid twice. The third time was the charm and only one payment came through. Each customer was using a different payment method...Paypal and the other Propay. Thankfully, they were persistent and contacted me.
I submitted a ticket.
Yet another customer that couldn't check out!
