I have recently done some promotions and seen our subscriber base increase quite quickly. I now have over 1,600 email subscribers and the number is rising very quickly. With each deal, I have an increase in customer base by about 700.

I hardly ever send out emails to these subscribers as I just never get around to it. At most, I would send one campaign a month. I use MailChimp, but they are going to slog me $30+ each month if the count goes over 2,000 even if I don't send any emails. I want to know if there is a cheaper way of just storing all the subscribers for when I do occasionally do a campaign.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
