How to increase the Page Rank

Hi All, I noticed that many of you have a very good page rank of 2 or above.

I have started my business for over 1 year, but i'm still getting page rank = 0/10

I planned to do the following to increase my page rank, which one do you think is of highest priority to help increasing the page rank?

- write articles and submit articles to site

- directory submission

- submit to search engine

- find sites that can link to my page

- google +1

Hope you can share some experience with me.

Links to your site are very important.   Also important is a blog.   You can include links to your site in your blog.   I use Google's blogspot.com and it is free and easy.   Also if you like to write articles, check out squidoo.com.   You can submit articles on any subject there and they pay you if enough people read the article.  My blog is http://csbsews.blogspot.com and you can see my squidoo lens at http://www.squidoo.com/csbsewspatterns (the lens is a guide to finding sewing patterns for American Girl Doll Clothes on the web).

Tennis,

do you have a banner for your site? If so, let's back link each other!

I just added a custom page to my website named "Links". In that page you can copy the html code of my banner to add to your website source code.
