Change Background Color

I have the simplr theme and I wanted my background to be white instead of gray, is there anyway to change that? I also wanted to change the font and number of pictures, as well as size of pictures on my home page. I know nothing about .css and could use the help.

It might be better to get more into your store before you start changing image sizes.
Looks like you already changed the background color.
Can you please tell me how to change the background color?
