Outstanding platform

I have been designing Highwire templates for over 2 years and believe the Highwire platform to be the most user-friendly shopping cart platform out there. Highwire is not loaded with useless features like many other shopping carts but rather features that a store owner can use to build and expand their online presence. A store owner has total control over the look and feel of their store allowing them to brand their website to their business without needing a degree in website design & programming. Many of my customers have reported that after opening a store with Highwire, they were very impressed with their sales and very glad they took the plunge.

Sincerely,
Jennifer

I second that, Jennifer.   I looked long and hard for the best platform to host my store since I'd have to do all of the design work myself.  Highwire appeared to be the best option so I took the plunge and am still a satisfied customer over a year later.  While Highwire doesn't have anything to do with how successful your store is (all the promoting is up to you), they do offer tools to make it easier to optimize the amount of traffic that comes to your store.  Additionally, I have always found a generous amount of support when needed from Tomas and other store owners through the forum community platform.  Thanks, ya'll!

I totally agree with you that the true success comes from the efforts of the store owner. Owning a web store is not an easy task. But having a system that provides you some of the best features possible sure takes away from the stress level! I truly love how everything is right there, easy to find. Other carts tend to be so overloaded with useless features that you spend half an hour trying to find what you want to do. Highwire is just easy to navigate in the admin.

Jennifer,

You are correct in your statement. That is what I love about Highwire. Even if you were at Prostores, GoDaddy, HostGator or any of the thousand other sights out there for $14.95 a month with 100's of add on's that you never use, you still get a template that you cannot edit. You do not have access to the total page html so you are stuck. I am not a expert so I purchased a template and I know enough about html that I can edit a few things to add what I want.

If Highwire settles on a steady monthly fee I am here to the end.

One thing I would love for someone to figure out, Jennifer, is I like to use a Link Exchange manager program that after I approve or disapprove the link it is placed on my page. There are hundreds out there but all I could find is required to ftp to server. Maybe someone can find a work around someday. For my part I do not have any other reason to go to the server.

The main reason I link the link exchange programs is less time comsuming. With the html/wysiwyg editor are so unstable I want to add two lines and I want the same font, same spacing to make the entire page alinke. But now I add one line and by time I get back to the finished product the entire page has changed. Maybe this new editor once they tweak it will work better.

Overall, I give HighWire a 9 out of 10 and this includes the confusing going on during the upgrade. I highly recommend Highwire to all. Give it a try and you will see how great it is.

I signed up for HostMonster and started messing around with Magento for our which is free with your account - I gotta tell ya - Highwire is the way to go if you don't feel like digging through lines of code just to try and change the background colors and images on your store.  I can't even believe how easy it is to do things out here.  $14.95 is totally worth it.  Not to mention the support!  I would highly recommend this site to anyone wanting to get into an online business!
